INDIANAPOLIS (WXIN/WTTV) — Purdue University has fired head football coach Ryan Walters, according to multiple reports.
The change occurred following a 1-11 season. Most recently, the Boilermakers fell 0-66 to the Indiana University Hoosiers in the Old Oaken Bucket game on Saturday.
Walters’ record with Purdue was 5-19 after a two-year tenure.
As of this article’s publication, neither Purdue University nor Walters has issued a statement on the firing.
