INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers have reportedly taken care of another piece of outstanding offseason business.

The team will sign forward Obi Toppin to a four-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Pacers acquired Toppin, a former first-round pick, from the New York Knicks in an offseason trade last year. Indiana surrendered two second rounders to get him.

Toppin started at power forward for the Pacers before he moved to the bench, where he emerged as a scoring threat, using his athleticism to run the floor and score in transition.

He finished third on the team in field goal percentage (57.3%), with many of his scores coming off dunks and alley oops. Toppin displayed a scoring touch from outside, where he hit a career-best 40.3% of his three-point shots.

He also set a career mark with 10.3 points per game.

Toppin played in all 82 regular-season games for the Pacers. He was one of only three NBA players to have more than 100 dunks and 100 made threes during the season (Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren were the other two).

Wojnarowski reported the deal was for 4 years and $60 million. The Pacers had expressed interest in keeping the former Dayton star in Indiana.
