(Madison) – UW-Eau Claire Professor and head of the English Department Jose Felipe Alvergue was cited for disorderly conduct earlier this week for his violent and intimidating behavior towards students.
“This type of unhinged and degenerate behavior from a UW-Eau Claire professor and department head meant to intimidate students on Election Day is completely unacceptable,” said Rep. Krug. “Whether it’s this liberal professor flipping over a College Republican table on campus or violent leftwing terrorists firebombing Tesla vehicles and dealerships, these individuals must be held accountable.”
Campaigns and Elections Committee Chairman Rep. Dave Maxey called for a full and transparent investigation into this matter to ensure it does not happen again.
“I second Chairman Maxey’s call to action for a full investigation,” added Krug. “It is astonishing that a professor would feel even remotely comfortable on a University of Wisconsin System campus to conduct himself in such a manner. This cannot happen again.”
