SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO)– All Rapid City Area schools are under a secure status, according to an email sent to parents by the school district.
“A threat was made to a west side school around 11 a.m.” the email said. “The safety of all students district-wide is a top priority.”
The secure status is out of an abundance of caution, according to the district.
The email says all students and staff are safe at this time.
