SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities in Rapid City are investigating what they’re calling a “suspicious shooting” that happened Monday just before noon.
Rapid City Police say they responded to a call of a male juvenile who had just been shot at a residence in the 400 block of E. Fairlane Dr.
The juvenile was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are suspicious in nature. They stated that they don’t believe there is any ongoing threat to public safety as a result of the shooting.
