SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Rapid City man – accused of holding a woman for ransom – says he’s not guilty.
29-year-old Clay Loafer appeared in federal court today.
According to court documents, he’s accused of kidnapping and seriously hurting a woman in January.
Loafer has a lengthy criminal history.
The South Dakota Department of Corrections website says Loafer is currently on active parole for an escape case. He’s listed as an absconder.
