SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — A 28-year-old is facing a murder charge for stabbing another man at an apartment in Box Elder.
According to a news release from the Pennington County Sheriff’s office, Joseph Poor Thunder Jr., of Rapid City, was arrested and taken to Pennington County Jail.
Poor Thunder faces charges of aggravated assault domestic and murder in the first degree for the death of 21-year-old William Medicine Eagle of Rapid City. The stabbing happened Sunday around 2:16 p.m. in an apartment of the 600 Block of Nothern Lights Boulevard.
The case remains under investigation.
