SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — The Rapid City Police are investigating a homicide after a man was stabbed to death near 6th Street on Tuesday.
A news release form the RCPD says police arrived to a scene and found a man with a stab wound around 7 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say detectives and investigators from the Criminal Investigations Divisions of the RCPD and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office pursuing leads in the developing case.
The incident does not appear to be random, RCPD said and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The name of the man that died in the stabbing is pending the notification of family members.
