National Weather Service officials said it was a small chance for thunderstorms to erupt Saturday afternoon in portions of north central and northeast Illinois, and northwest Indiana.
In Chicago, the risk of limited storms was expected east of I-55 in the afternoon hours, officials said. As of Saturday morning, the storms were moving toward the east northeast at 35 to 45 mph.
At Midway Airport morning condition are mostly cloudy at 46 degrees, and at O’Hare International Airport are the same.
