Democratic Govs. Kathy Hochul of New York, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, and Jared Polis of Colorado secured their party’s nominations to hold on to their seats in November as voters in all three states headed to the polls Tuesday to chose their nominees for governor. Hochul, who is seeking a first full term as governor, will face Republican Lee Zeldin, while Pritzker, who is running for a second term, will face Trump-endorsed Darren Bailey. In Colorado, Joseph O’Dea won the Republican nod to challenge Polis in November.
