PIERRE – A patient Post 8 team defeated Minot (ND) Wednesday at Hyde Stadium 13-7.
Post 8 had nine hits, but also drew 10 walks. Matthew Hanson drove in three runs. George Stalley and Brecken Krueger drove in two runs each. Jonny Lyons had three hits. Gary Nedved and Krueger had two hits each. Connor Bruce had three walks.
Krueger was the winning pitcher for Post 8 (11-14), striking out seven in five innings.
