NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Part of Pleasant Street in Noblesville will be closed for most of 2025.
According to a press release from the City of Noblesville, Pleasant Street will be closed to through traffic between 13th and 16th Streets beginning on or after Jan. 13, 2025. Officials expect the closure to be in place through the start of 2026.
During the closure, crews will widen Pleasant Street to four lanes and replace the bridge over Wilson Drain. Per the City, area residents and business owners will still be able to access their properties during construction.
The City of Noblesville plans to create detour and property access routes for area residents to use. Both routes involve 10th and 16th Streets.

The near-year-long closure is part of Phase II of the City’s Reimagine Pleasant Street project. Per the city’s website on the project, Reimagine Pleasant Street is “a multi-year initiative that will result in improved east-west connectivity and accessibility for (the) growing City of Noblesville.”
Reimagine Pleasant Street is a three-phase project. Per the City’s website, all construction related to Reimagine Pleasant Street was supposed to be finished by Fall 2025.
The City’s website indicates Reimagine Pleasant Street will reduce traffic along State Road 32 in downtown Noblesville by 20% once it’s finished. The project is also part of the City’s efforts to ensure its roadways can accommodate any future growth or traffic increases Noblesville may have.
