The Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday updated an alert for a 27-year-old Fort Collins man with developmental disabilities who last week boarded a bus in Denver bound for St. Louis.
Last seen by family members May 2 on foot wearing red shoes in Fort Collins near the intersection of Lincoln and Riverside avenues, Collin Best on May 4 got on a bus to St. Louis. Fort Collins police determined the ticket he bought gave a final destination of Fayetteville, North Carolina, according to the CBI alert posted on Twitter. “It is unknown if Collin transferred to his next bus.”
He suffers from autism and bipolar conditions, “functions at about a 5-year-old level,” and has been suicidal in the past, the alert said. He’s 5′ 7″ tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and had a blue and white backpack with him, authorities said in the alert.
