INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating after a man was found dead Tuesday evening.
According to IMPD, Just before 7 p.m. officers responded to the 100 block of South Belmont Ave. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived, they found an adult male inside a residence with injuries consistent with trauma.
When medical services arrived they pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released by IMPD, and The Marion County Coroner’s office is assisting to determine the exact cause of death.
