WE DO HAVE THE COLD WEATHER AND WE WILL HAVE THE CHANCE FOR FLURRIES TOMORROW. FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE, NOT 17 INCHES. ALLISON: WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT LAKE-EFFECT SNOW LEADING TO FEET. KELLY: WE WOULD NEED TO HAVE A LAKE CLOSER. IF THERE IS NOT A WIND, THE TEMPERATURE WILL REACH UP TO 33. BUT STILL AROUND THE FREEZING MARK FOR TODAY AND AGAIN TOMORROW. ANOTHER COLD FRONT ON THE WAY LEADING TO A COUPLE OF FLURRIES MOVING OUR WAY BY TOMORROW MORNING. I AM BREAKING DOWN THE POTENTIAL FOR SLICK SPOTS COMING UP IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES. KELLY: A GOOD HEADS UP. HAPPENING TODAY A BREAK IN A 1978 COLD CASE. JOE DETERS WILL ANNOUNCE A MAJOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE MURDER OF CHERYL THOMPSON. KARIN JOHNSON HAS THE DETAILS ON THIS CASE. WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO HEAR FROM THE OFFICIALS? KARIN: IN JUST ABOUT AN HOUR WE ARE EXPECTED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE MURDER OF CHERYL THOMPSON. IN 1978, HER BODY WAS FOUND NEAR THE BANKS OF THE LITTLE MIAMI RIVER. SHE WAS 19 YEARS OLD AND A STUDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI. THE HAMILTON COUNTY CORONER RULED HER DEATH A HOMICIDE AND SAID THAT SHE DIED FROM STRANGULATION AND BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA TO THE HEAD. ALMOST 45 YEARS LATER THERE HAS BEEN A BREAK IN THE CASE. JOE DEITERS WILL BE HOLDING A PRESS CONFERENCE AT 1:00 AND WE WILL BRING YOU THE VERY LATEST ON WLWT STARTING AT 4:00 TONIGHT. KELLY: DEFINITELY AN INTERESTING UPDATE. THE SEARCH FOR A MAN AFTER CREATING A SWOT STANDOFF THAT SHUT DOWN SEVERAL DOWNTOWN STREETS AWESOME SOCIAL MEDIA POST SAYING WHAT IS GOING ON.
