Tomorrow (June 8, 2022), Elizabeth Street in Pierre, between Pleasant Drive and Capitol Avenue, will close to through traffic for underground utility work.
The City is installing a new water main. Access for local traffic only will be maintained throughout the construction project. Through traffic should detour around the area.
Weather permitting, the section of street is expected to reopen with a temporary surface by June 21, 2022.
