The Pierre Jr. Shooters just wrapped up a great week of competition at the 2024 Daisy Nationals BB Gun Finals and they represented Pierre in a great way!
In the champions match, all three of our athletes finished in the top 10,
Stazy Sass 2nd overall and she won the Standing position with a 97-4.
Selina Valeros 5th overall and she won Prone with a 99-7 and had a perfect 100 on her safety test.
Addison Sterling was 7th overall and took second in sitting with a 98-6 and also had a perfect 100 on her safety test.
For the Team Match:
The team of Bodie Bramblee, Anthony Poelstra, Raena Anderson, Effy Carter, and Rebekah Edwardson finished 9th.
Highlights included Anthoney Poelstra scoring a perfect 100 on the safety test and Rebekah Edwardson shooting a perfect 100 in sitting to claim the gold in that position.
Rebekah’s perfect sitting target afforded her the opportunity to attempt a national record, official results of that record are pending.
The team alternates were Ben Maxwell and Roman Stanek who finished 29th and 47th respectively out of 95 competitors.
Highlights from the Alternate match were Ben took Silver in the Sitting position with a score of 98-6.
Congratulations to all of the Jr. Shooters that competed and made Pierre proud!
