CARMEL, Ind. — Police are investigating after a vehicle struck a tree that then fell onto a hair salon in Carmel Saturday morning.
According to the Carmel Police Department, a vehicle jumped a curb and crashed into a hair salon on the 10300 block of Commerce Dr. shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday.
That vehicle also collided with a tree, causing the tree to fall onto the building, police said. A manager of the hair salon was then called to the scene.
CPD added that a person was taken out of the vehicle and transported to an area hospital. However, their condition was not stated. It is not yet confirmed if any other persons were injured in the crash.
At this time, police have not stated any further information, including what led up to the crash and specific suspect information.
