On October 4th, just before 11 p.m. Phoenix police received a call about an unknown trouble in the area of 4900 North 19th Avenue. Officers arrived on scene and located a male, later identified as 25 year old Cedric Martinez, suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Mr. Martinez later died from his injuries at the scene.
At this time, detectives are working to understand what led up to this incident and identify involved suspects.
