SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Crews will begin work Sunday evening on parking changes to downtown Sioux Falls.
All parking along both sides of Phillips Avenue between 9th and 13th streets will be closed so crews can paint markings near the back of the diagonal parking stalls.
Vehicles that are not moved by 7 p.m. Sunday may be towed.
Parking should reopen by 6 a.m. Monday.
The new white lines will allow drivers to see that they comply with the new city ordinance prohibiting vehicles that are more than 18-feet long from parking along that area of Phillips.
The ordinance goes into effect on May first.
