INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 6600 block of Covered Bridge Trace on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they found a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD reported that the victim is currently awake and breathing. Public police reporting systems indicate law enforcement was first called to the area around 11:32 p.m.
