INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed on the near west side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 1200 block of North Tibbs Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD reported that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
