INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a person was shot and killed on Indy’s northwest side Friday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 6:55 p.m. to the 3000 block of Lupine Drive in response to reports of shots being fired in the area.
IMPD said officers arrived and found an individual suffering from at least one gunshot wound. That victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
