INDIANAPOLIS — Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a person critical on the near north side Friday afternoon.
According to IMPD, the department responded around 2:44 p.m. to the 500 block of E 16th St on the report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim with injuries consistent with at least one gunshot wound. IMPD said the person was in critical condition.
A suspect has not been named at this time, and IMPD has not yet listed a cause of the shooting. FOX59/CBS4 will update this article once more information is made available.
