WILMOT, S.D. (KELO) — The pedestrian that was killed while walking along SD Highway 123 near Wilmot early Sunday morning has been identified.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says Darius C. Small, 20, was walking in the southbound lane of SD Highway 123 early Sunday morning when he was struck by an SUV.
The driver of the SUV Alyssa J. Feather was taken into custody for DUI and has other charges pending.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
