NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A man has died after reportedly being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Noblesville, according to the Noblesville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched Sunday at approximately 2:57 a.m. to the intersection of Cicero Rd. and Field Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, emergency respondents located an adult male lying in the middle of Cicero Rd. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined that the individual was struck by a car that eventually fled the scene.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until the family has been notified.
North and southbound traffic on Cicero Rd. from Forest Park Drive was closed during the crash investigation and reopened in both directions at 7:12 a.m.
