One person died after being shot in San Francisco on Sunday morning despite lifesaving efforts from paramedics, San Francisco police said.
The person was shot on the 900 block of Folsom Street and subsequently went to 5th and Shipley streets, where they succumbed to their injuries, officials said.
Officers reported to the scene of 5th and Shipley just after 4 a.m. after receiving a call about a shooting, SFPD said.
SFPD said its homicide department is investigating the incident and no suspects have been arrested.
This is the city’s 17th homicide this year, according to data from the department.
