RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) — O’Gorman completed its second straight undefeated season with a 47-46 come-from-behind win over Brandon Valley in the Class ‘AA’ state championship game Saturday night. The Knights scored 14 of the game’s final 17 points to overcome a 10-point deficit in the final five minutes.

The Lynx reeled off 11 straight points in the first quarter to take an 18-10 lead in the final minute of the quarter. They led the entirety of the game from that point until Ruby Moore gave the Knights the lead with 33 seconds left in the fourth.

Sydney Terveen scored a game-high 21 points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter. Moore was the only other Knight in double figures with 14, including the final five points of the game.

Alyvia Padgett led BV with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Amanda Lease chipped in 11.

O’Gorman has now won 50 straight games. This crown is the Knights’ third, all in the last four years.
