The Tennessee Titans once again watched a winnable game go by the wayside on Sunday, this time falling to Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, 24-17.
For the second straight week, a solid defensive performance was wasted thanks to untimely turnovers and offensive ineptitude in big moments.
With the loss, the Titans fall to 0-2 on the season.
Now let’s take a closer look at the snap counts that contributed to the Titans’ Week 2 defeat.
Offensive snaps: 66
Defensive snaps: 57
Special teams snaps: 26
There isn’t much rotation happening on either side of the ball for Tennessee right now. The 11 starters, particularly on defense, are taking on the bulk of the snaps and that will have an impact later in the season should it continue.
Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins saw more time this week as he battles back from a knee injury. However, his production remains nearly non-existent.
Safety Jamal Adams, in his Titans debut, took just two defensive snaps.
