“I am proud to be running to be the first LGBTQ+ New Yorker elected to statewide office, and when I’m elected, I will continue to champion the needs and rights of our community. I’m also proud to be running alongside Jumaane Williams, a lifelong fighter for marginalized New Yorkers,” she said. “Regardless of who wins the election, I’m committed to serving in Albany as an independent voice.”
