After yesterday’s rain, skies have mostly cleared and temperatures have fallen in the overnight! We are off to a much cooler start this morning, with area readings in the lower 40s. Be sure to grab that coat out-the-door for the morning rush hour and bus-stop!
This afternoon will bring ample sunshine and a more seasonal day to open the new month! No doubt, refreshing, as we dry out and warm only into the upper 50s. Winds will remain fairly light from the northwest at 4-8 mph.
Tonight, if downtown or at a local football game, expect clear skies and temperatures falling quickly after sunset. Lows overnight will reach the upper 30s with patchy frost in the area by Saturday morning.
This weekend brings additional sunshine on Saturday and milder air before clouds increase on Sunday and few spotty showers will dot the state. More chances will exist through Wednesday morning.
