MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto of the Orlando Magic’s NBA Summer League team is looking forward to wearing the Blue and White very soon.
In a video posted on the Magic’s Twitter page, Sotto left a message for not just Filipino fans but also supporters of the Florida-based team.
“We just wrapped up our first practice in Vegas. Game time’s on July 8 and I hope to see you all there,” the Gilas Pilipinas player said.

Sotto will be seeing action when the Magic begin their preseason stint against the Detroit Pistons at Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas.
The match will take place on Friday, Manila time, 5:30 am.
The former Adelaide 36er will don the number 70 for his jersey in the NBA Summer League.
Sotto and the Magic will be taking directives from coach Dylan Murphy, the head tactician for the Osceola Magic in the NBA’s G League.
The 7-foot-2 Filipino big will also share the floor with 2023 NBA Draft first rounders Anthony Black and Jett Howard.
