It’s a good thing there are five voters because otherwise, this would have been a tie. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and T’Vondre Sweat both had incredible rookie seasons, but ultimately, Sweat got the nod. He recorded 46 tackles (20 solo), one sack, one pass defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He began the season as a starter and played throughout the entire season. His attitude and smile are infectious, and he demands the attention of opponents, freeing up other guys to make plays in his wake.
