WOO first blog post on the new site!
What do you think? I hope you love the new re-design!
Today, because it’s that time of the year again–(every fall and spring!) I’m re-circulating my ‘Sephora favorites’ post as the Sephora sale is open to everyone today!

So to make things easy, I’m rounding up on my TIP TOP favorites below. My Favorite Must-Have Sephora Products:
Happy shopping!
The curling iron I have used for 5+ years. I most often use the 1″ barrel but love that it comes with all three for different kinds of waves! I swear my curls last longer with this wand. Tip: It gets REALLY HOT. I use this on level 3–unnecessarily high heat can damage your hair!
Expensive yes, but for me, it’s 100% worth the price. The best ever finishing texturizing spray and it smells SO incredible. I spray it root to tip as it lightly absorbs oil and gives a beautifully tousled natural finish to your waves.
Olaplex #7 Bonding Oil:
I like this oil mixed with the above cream for a leave-in treatment, and I’ll also add more after my hair has dried for extra frizz-taming and shine. Plus, it smells amazing! Read my review here!
First Aid Beauty Pure Face Cleanser
If you’re looking for an all-in-one cleanser for dry to normal to combo skin, I LOVE this one and have been re-purchasing it religiously for over a year now. It’s super gentle, non-stripping, and I swear it’s helped tame breakouts, too! It also totally does the trick to remove makeup as well if you’re looking for a one-and-done product.
Saie Beauty sun melt cream bronzer + bronzer brush:
Love this cream bronzer formula! It blends beautifully and gives you a natural sun kissed glow. I also love that the cream formula never breaks or spills in your big (that always happens to me with powder formulas!) Plus the brush is TO DIE for. So great. Snap it up before it’s out of stock again!
My latest “face makeup” purchase–I wrote a whole post reviewing it! If you’re a makeup minimalist like me, I think you’ll love this face stick which promises to replace both your foundation and concealer, and I can attest that this is true! Somehow it isn’t too drying for my skin–and I’ve had readers who have oily skin say it was great with theirs too. (How does it work on all skin types? I don’t know. But I’m into it!)
I love Merit’s shade slick lip oil (I have Marrakech and Cara Cara). This formula looks and feels like a gloss without being too sticky–but has a great amount of punchy, yet natural looking color! The perfect everyday lip product!
Isle of Paradise sunless tanning drops:
Curiosity finally got the best of me and I purchased these tanning drops. I’ve only used them on my face, but I really like them! I like that it gives you a really subtle, natural, buildable glow and all you have to do is mix with your moisturizer! They do still have a faint sunless tanning smell, but what tanning product doesn’t? I didn’t have a problem with it breaking me out either!
Necessaire body wash:
I purchased this body wash and their moisturizer after seeing every influencer I know promoting it. (Curiosity always gets the best of me!) I will say, I genuinely do not understand how anyone could be obsessed with the moisturizer (granted, I know many of you are–skincare is so personal!) but I LOVEEE the body wash in the Eucalyptus scent. It’s really gentle, non-drying, and smells so good that it makes my very lackluster shower feel like a fancy spa experience. Such a wonderful pick-me-up and I have been re-buying ever since. (The others scents are meh for me though–must be eucalyptus.)
Kopari Natural Deodorant:
One of my longgg time go-to’s. It works well, and doesn’t irritate my underarms like many other products do! (Note: It’s not an antiperspirant, so you’ll still sweat, but it is an effective naturally deodorant IMO!) My other favorite is Megababe in the Beach scent (smells SO good–but not sold at Sephora).
Farmacy Deep Sweep:
I tend to use this after washing my face if I’m experiencing breakouts! (I don’t use it as much as I used to as I haven’t needed to and my skin has gotten dryer recently, but still worth including here!) I’ve found this is great for helping to control breakouts (especially if you tend to have issues with maskne) but I don’t usually use it more than a couple times per week so as not to over dry my skin. (However, those with combo/oily skin would have no problem using this every night!) I love that it has 2% BHA and is gently exfoliating without stripping (alcohol-free!).
Sunday Riley ICE cream
Been using this for two years now and it’s the best cream I’ve found for dry skin. It’s a ceramide cream, which really helps lock in moisture and sooth any irritation you might have. (I’ve had friends say this is great for eczema too!) It is VERY RICH but doesn’t make skin greasy! It makes your skin baby soft!
Tip: Don’t miss your lips when applying this! It helps dry lips immensely!
Ilia Tinted Lip Oil:
Speaking of dry lips, I LOVE this tinted lip oil (and Ilia is a great brand!) I think the name is kind of misleading, it doesn’t feel like an oil, it feels like a pigmented thick liquid lipstick/gloss, but is infused with oil and other hydrating ingredients, so it gives you great, natural-looking color without being drying! The bottle I have has lasted me two years! (If you’re looking for a lighter formula, a new fave is Merit’s lip oil!)
Caudalie Clarifying Mask
Another heavy hitter I’ve been using for years and years. I love this clarifying mask and it’s great for when you need a little extra exfoliation or brightening. Makes your complexion feel fresh and new!
Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Essence
If you’re looking to even out your skin tone and lighten dark spots, I love this toner from Caudalie! Use a cotton ball to sweep it on morning and night! Caudalie is one of my favorite brands–they’re clean, high quality, and I’ve never used a product of theirs I didn’t like!
Farmacy Green Defense Sunscreen:
One of my all-time favorite mineral sunscreens! I LOVE Farmacy–they’re a clean brand that has their own organic farm in New York where they grow all the ingredients they use in their products! So cool! They make my favorite all-purpose (for all skin types) mineral-based face sunscreen. It does come out white but blends in really easily! Gives me no issues wearing under makeup, either!
Supergoop Glow Screen:
If you’re looking for a *cleaner/safer* chemical sunscreen (and don’t want a mineral sunscreen), Glow Screen is AWESOME. It’s slightly tinted, looks amazing all on its own or worn under makeup to give you a dewy glow. Because it’s more like a makeup product that makes you feel pretty, it’s a good one for those who can never get themselves to remember to apply sunscreen! I put this on daily after moisturizer and before makeup.
My go-to favorite spray (continuous and non-aerosol) sunscreen. It’s a clean chemical sunscreen (no oxybenzone), goes on clear with no rubbing necessary. Comes in SPF 50 and 30!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
I have several favorite dry shampoos, but this is my “all purpose, one and done” dry shampoo pick. It makes your hair feel clean and just-washed, makes it smell GREAT and adds volume and texture! No other spray I’ve found does it all like this one!
Briogeo Volumizing Root Powder + Dry Shampoo:
On the flip side, if you’re wanting a powder product and want something super volumizing (especially if second/third/fourth day hair tends to get very flat) then you’ll love this! It adds a lot of volume and is great for refreshing your roots to extend between washes as long as possible!
Caliray clean tubing mascara:
After giving this a full test drive, I think I can finally announce that this is my all-time favorite mascara AND it’s clean! It’s a tubing formula, meaning it’s super buildable with crazy volume AND–the best part–it basically disintegrates with just splashing warm water while washing your face. (No more raccoon eyes and scrubbing with makeup remover pads!) It’s amazing. I’m obsessed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a volumizing/lengthening mascara!
Peter Thomas Roth FirmRX Peel
This is a GODSEND when your skin is dry and flaky and you can’t put foundation on without it flaking off. (So embarassing). It’s a gentle peel that exfoliates but also leaves your skin looking firm and fresh. Not a *clean* brand, but again, passes the 80/20 rule in my book, and since you wash it off quickly, it doesn’t concern me too much!
Kopari Lip Glossy:
Another big favorite in the lip balm/gloss category–this is the best of both worlds! It looks like a gloss, but hydrates like a balm, and has a little hint of coconut! I love both tinted and clear and one is usually always within arm’s reach!
Lilah B. Glow Setting Mist:
I can’t say I’ve FULLY put this setting mist to the limit as I am rarely (or never? LOL) *out* all night anymore, but for my daily needs, I love it! It not only helps makeup set and avoid any setting into fine-lines/caking, but it’s really hydrating and gives you a dewy glow! I like using it as both a prep step and as a final setting step. It’s really great!
Ilia Color Block High Impact Lipstick:
I have been searching for a “brick” colored lipstick (like a burnt siena brick orangey-red hue) since my other favorite got discontinued–and I finally found this one in “Cinnabar”–it’s SO pretty! I also love the formula if you’re looking for a different color. It’s a great texture, not too drying, doesn’t feel cakey at all.
