Hi friends!
Welcome back to another Movement Monday, our weekly update email sharing the important work Kristin is doing for the people of northeast Wisconsin.
As a 6th generation Wisconsinite who was born and raised in the district, Kristin understands that there’s more that unites us than divides us. She’s a mom of four sons who is committed to building a brighter tomorrow for future generations, creating an economy that works for everyone, and ensuring that we all have the freedom to make our own personal healthcare decisions.
Up North News
Kristin joined UpNorthNews with Pat Kreitlow as usual on Monday morning to discuss her race, her opponent Tony Wied, and the DNC.
Kristin Visits Waupaca
Did you know that Waupaca used to be the potato capital of the world?!? Kristin stopped by the Waupaca Train Station on National Potato Day to commemorate central Wisconsin’s place in U.S. potato production (we’re number 3!) and the role that the railroad has played in our region’s economic development.
The Todd Allbaugh Show
Todd, Trygve Olson, and Kristin – all former Republican voters – talk about the race for WI-08, the incredible grassroots response to our movement, and the issues that Wisconsinites are most concerned about.
Packer vs Ravens Home Game
Kristin and crew made it on the jumbotron at Lambeau! We know, it’s only pre-season, but the enthusiasm is real – Go Pack Go!
Tia Nelson
Having grown up in the state that was the inspiration for Earth Day, Kristin is a huge admirer of the work of former Senator, Governor, and Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson. Last week, she was thrilled to meet Senator Nelson’s daughter, Tia Nelson, herself an inspirational environmentalist and conservationist. Stay tuned, more to come…
The Maggie Daun Show
Guest hosted by Matt Rothschild, Kristin and Matt discussed the race for WI-08 and the positive impact of new fair maps on candidate engagement and voter turnout in the district, all the way up and down the ticket.
Tigerton Parade
Team Kristin hung out with the Hidde family, UpNorthNews Tigerton weather correspondent Rob, and lots of new friends during the Lumberjack Parade, a candy-filled journey through the beautiful and historic logging town of Tigerton.
What’s On Tap Next Week?
