A motorcyclist died Wednesday evening (July 31, 2024, 6:12pm) in a single-vehicle crash on Old Hill City Road in Hill City, SD.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the 60 year old male driver of a 1994 Harley Davidson Cruiser was traveling eastbound on Old Hill City Road. The driver lost control and began sliding on the right side, then flipped and came to rest on the shoulder of the road.
The driver was transported to a Rapid City hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
