SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — From nail salons and hotels to a fireworks store and a veterinarian… a Montrose woman is accused of making nearly $40,000 in personal charges on a company credit card.
Amanda Siemonsma, 40, is charged with embezzlement.
Court documents say the illegal charges happened over a four year period. She was terminated from the Humboldt company in February of last year.
A couple of weeks later, the business received a cashier’s check for the full amount.
Siemonsma was booked into jail on Wednesday and made her first court appearance Thursday.
