SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A suspect is in custody following a Monday morning robbery at a bank on the 1,400 block of East 10th Street, said Sioux Falls Police during the morning briefing.

Police said a suspect told a teller they had a weapon. The suspect fled in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was in custody within a hour of the robbery being reported at 9:15 a.m.

The suspect was being questioned as of 10:30 a.m., Lt. Nick Butler said during Monday’s briefing.

Butler said police were confident they had the suspect involved in the robbery. Police were not sure if the suspect did have a weapon during the robbery.
