SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Zumbrota, Minnesota, man died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Sioux Falls, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
The man, 45, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle that entered the northbound I-29, West 12th Street ramp at high speed, the DPS said in a news release. The driver failed to navigate the curve and struck the concrete barriers on the east and west side of the road, causing him to separate from his motorcycle.
The driver died from injuries at a Sioux Falls hospital.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
