ORLANDO, FL – South Dakota State Softball lost for the second time over the weekend to Michigan Sunday 4-1, eliminating the Jackrabbits from the NCAA Tournament Orlando Regional at the UCF Softball Complex.
Cylie Halvorson homered in the bottom of the seventh inning for SDSU to avert the shutout, but Michigan scored their runs in the first two innings.
Earlier Sunday, SDSU (41-13) stayed in the tournament with a 5-4 nine-inning win over Villanova in an elimination game.
