The Mesa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 20-year-old Adam Gomez, a person of interest in the murder of 30-year-old Jose Gutierrez that occurred at 2011 E. McKellips Rd on April 27, 2022.
Mesa Police warn the public to consider Gomez armed and dangerous and should be avoided. You are asked to immediately contact law enforcement.
At about 3:30 a.m. April 27, Mesa Police Department officers were called to the Circle K near Gilbert and McKellips roads for reports of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot while in the driver’s seat of his truck, parked next to gas pumps in the lot.
Mr. Gutierrez of Mesa, was pronounced dead at the scene.
