Clean-up efforts have been non-stop since the devastating flood in June hit McCook Lake in North Sioux City. A three-day clean-up event starts Saturday and goes until Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
When rock group Foreigner took the stage at the Denny Sanford Premier Center Wednesday night, a group of local students sang back-up for one of their songs. That opportunity was supposed to be a 12-year-old girl’s final performance with the Sioux Falls Children’s choir. But, the girl in a wheelchair never got on stage.
Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the Labor Day Weekend. With mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the 80s in eastern KELOLAND to the 90s in central and western South Dakota. Winds will favor a southerly direction.
