May concert photos featuring Olivia Rodrigo, Orville Peck, Lucius and more

The summer concert season is in full swing and after two years of stop-and-start tours because of the pandemic, venues and artists are back to a semblance of normalcy.

Each month, noted photographer Perry Julien takes concert photos exclusively for ArtsATL at venues around the city.

For May, he photographed shows by Olivia Rodrigo at the Coca-Cola Roxy (after market tickets for that concert were going for more than $600), Lucius (who sang backup for Roger Waters on his “Us and Them Tour”) at the Variety Playhouse, the masked wonder Orville Peck at the Tabernacle and the Dave Matthews Band at Lakewood Amphitheatre.
