MARION COUNTY, Ind. — The results of the 2024 election are official in Marion County.
On Monday, the Marion County Election Board voted to certify the results of the general election that occurred earlier this month.
On Election Day, 192,850 individuals voted in person and 165,186 individuals voted in other ways, including by mail and through early voting. In total, 358,036 Marion County residents participated in the 2024 general election.
Voters throughout the state made decisions on a number of positions in this particular election, including electing U.S. Senator Mike Braun, R-Ind. as the state’s new governor, U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, R-District 3, Ind. as the state’s newest U.S. Senator and reelecting Republican Todd Rokita as the state’s attorney general.
“This certification is proof that our elections are safe, secure, and accurate,” Marion County Clerk Kate Sweeney Bell said. “This election ran smoothly thanks to the tireless efforts of our poll workers and staff at the Marion County Election Board. A record number of voters came out for in person early voting this year and more than 350,000 voters made their voices heard at the ballot box here in Marion County.”
Officials said that there is not currently an election scheduled for 2025. The next scheduled election in Marion County is for 2026. For the certified results for the 2024 general election, click here.
