INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred late Wednesday night.
According to IMPD, just before 11:25 p.m. officers received a report of a person shot in the 1200 block of East Washington St.
When Officers arrived they found an adult male with a gunshot wound behind the residence. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Details are limited, but IMPD says that the victim and several individuals were visiting friends when some type of disturbance broke out and shots were fired.
