INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed a man early Sunday morning.
According to IMPD, around 3:20 a.m. officers were called to the 2900 block of Sherman Drive for a report of a person shot.
Officers located an adult male in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say there are no known suspects at this time and police are working to find out what caused the shooting as a nearby bar closed just before the report of the shooting.
