A 19-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds overnight in a shooting on Northwest Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 2;30 a.m. Wednesday, the man was standing outside his vehicle in the 4700 block of North Kedzie Avenue when he heard gunshots. The man returned to his vehicle and the gunshots continued, police said.
The victim drove away and realized he was shot multiple ties. Chicago Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
