A man was shot and injured early Monday morning near the Luma hotel, an upscale hotel in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood, police said.
San Francisco Police said officers from the southern station responded to a shooting report just after midnight at the 100 block of Channel Street, near the Luma hotel, also near Oracle Park and Chase Center.
After arriving at the scene, officers found a man with gunshot wounds, SFPD said. The man was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, police said.
A witness told ABC7 News that they heard up to 7 shots.
Police told SFGATE they are unable to confirm the number of reported gunshots or any additional information at this time.
