On Tuesday afternoon around 4:20, the Sioux Falls Police went to the 800 block of north Dakota Ave. to serve arrest and search warrants on possession of firearm by former violent offender, domestic aggravated assault and domestic simple assault.
The suspect was known to be inside of the home when law enforcement arrived. Later, the Sioux Falls SWAT and emergency response team was called to the scene to assist, according to a news release from the city of Sioux Falls.
The suspect, 42 year-old Sioux Falls resident Jarruea Lamar Robinson, was arrested and taken to Minnehaha County Jail.
