SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities in Sioux Falls have made an arrest in connection with a homicide.
Sioux Falls Police say on Monday, they were called to the 5300 block of South Anthony Avenue in southwest Sioux Falls for an unknown problem. On scene, police found a dead woman at the residence.
Police say they noted suspicious circumstances and began an investigation. Through the investigation, authorities developed a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for Jimmie David Ledbetter Jr.
Ledbetter was arrested and charged with 1st-degree and 2nd-degree murder.
More details on the homicide are expected during Friday’s police briefing.
